Jordan joined the Vermilion team as a server/bartender in August of 2011. Quickly embracing the charm and charisma that Vermilion offers, he worked his way up as an assistant manager, and now to general manager. Hailing from the midwest, Jordan previously worked as the assistant GM at Tutto Pasta Cucina Italiana in Madison, WI, and later in Chicago as the service manager of Sweets and Savories, as well as the assistant GM at Elate Restaurant in the Hotel Felix. Although a relative newcomer to Old Town Alexandria, Jordan’s years of previous hospitality experience out west taught him the professionalism he maintains, and have fueled his fervor for excellence in the hospitality industry.

Chef William Morris brings over 18 years of culinary experience to his position as executive chef of Vermilion restaurant in Alexandria, VA. A fixture in the Washington, D.C. culinary scene for years, Morris has spent time in many of the city’s most prominent and famous kitchens including The Palm, PS7's and BOURBON STEAK. A Northern Virginia native, Morris continues to celebrate the very best product from the region with his simple, straightforward and honest cooking.
