Having begun his career early on bartending at a handful of Old Town’s most venerable restaurants to help pay for school, Dave’s since earned his rightful place among this town’s top restaurant directors for his affable demeanor, quick wit and consummate professionalism.

William Morris brings over 18 years of culinary experience to his position as
executive chef of Vermilion restaurant in Alexandria, VA. A fixture in the
Washington, D.C. culinary scene for years, Morris has spent time in many of the
city’s most prominent and famous kitchens including The Palm, PS7's and BOURBON STEAK. A Northern Virginia native, Morris continues to celebrate the very best product from the region with his simple,
straightforward and honest cooking.
